Painting Kitchen Cabinets

The first thing I wanted to do when we first moved in to our house was to change the kitchen cabinets. No budget for that. But what I didnt realize is how expensive kitchen reno can be. To change cabinet, counter top, and back splash we were first quoted $40,000. Yep! I almost fell from the chair. Then we had a other company come by the house to give us a quote for a reface. We’ll they are cheaper. $20,000. (We were quoted $25,000) again I almost fell. I wanted to faint. Lol. Then i decided to get a quote from Thumbtack to get my cabinets painted. Which is significantly cheaper. Though I was taking the risk of not knowing the company I’ll be using and I didn’t know anything about their work. Luckily they had good reviews on thumbtack but you get what you pay for. I’m pretty satisfied on how it looks, it’s not the best work but it is visually appealing compared to the original cabinets. Closet UPDATE

The first thing I wanted to do when we moved in to this house a couple of years ago was to build my dream closet. Of course like everything else I was not sure how I really want to do it. I was not sure if O wanted everything including pjS, undies, etc to be in the closet as well for easy access. I played with using some cube and shoe organizer to see if I really need to redo my closet. I knew the way this closet was originally built that I was missing out on some vertical space even if I was using baskets. Walmart Haul (Nordstrom Anniversary Inspired)

Time and Tru cami - Booties Not too long ago the most awaited Nordstrom anniversary was happening. I planned to get an item or two during the sale but for some reason everything that I wanted was still pretty expensive. It just happened that I was on Walmart’s app and I found a bunch of cute items that reminded me of the Nordstrom items. So I went ahead and ordered a few items. I figured I don’t really need fall clothing just yet. I am in Texas and summer doesn’t really leave us till November. If i have gotten fall clothing from Nordstrom it would still just sit in my closet. But anyways, here’s a few of the items I’ve gotten from Walmart.
